MK Dons have reportedly made an enquiry to bring in Liverpool forward Jerome Sinclair, reports the Independent (via MK Citi Blog).
Sinclair, who became Liverpool’s youngest ever player when he broke in to the first team, has turned down the offer of a new contract to stay with the Reds and is seemingly on his way out of Anfield, with his deal set to expire in the summer.
Karl Robinson is believed to have made enquiries about Jerome as he looks to fight off relegation for the Dons, but he is not alone.
The striker scored in the 2-2 FA Cup draw with Exeter two weeks ago but was left out of the replay by Jurgen Klopp.
The German has expressed his frustration at the situation surrounding Sinclair, but is more than happy for him to stay should he have a change of heart.
It is thought any move now would be a loan move or would have to be made permanent immediately, with a fairly hefty fee involved – Liverpool could seek up to £5m at a tribunal if he chooses to leave.
