Liverpool appear to have won the race for Hull City left back Andrew Robertson, according Alan Nixon and the Sun.

The 23-year-old has been high on the wish list of Reds' manager Jurgen Klopp, who has been looking for a left back since last season with Alberto Moreno woefully short of form, while James Milner filled in admirably for the majority of the season at Anfield.

The deal is expected to cost Liverpool around £8m, which will represent a decent deal for Klopp and his men, who will be getting a full international defender who has already impressed at Premier League level.

Robertson moved to Hull from Dundee United back in 2014 and has become an ever present for the Tigers. He was in cracking form last season as Hull battled relegation, but ultimately could not do enough to see the them survive, and they dropped back into the Championship.

He will no doubt though now relish the challenge of playing for one of the biggest clubs in Europe, and Liverpool will be delighted to have got their man as they prepare for life back in the Champions League.

Hull fans, what do you think to this? Good deal for the club? Let us know in the comments!
