Fulham’s Ryan Sessegnon is subject to interest from some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs, with the Cottagers facing a real battle to keep hold of their promising full-back, according to the Daily Star.
Sessegnon is only 16 but has already made strides to break into the first team at the Championship side, having played a part in the 3-2 EFL Cup win over Leyton Orient yesterday evening.
It is believed that Arsene Wenger had a bid turned down for Sessegon in January but is ready to go in for him again, unless Jurgen Klopp can lure the player to Anfield.
Sessegnon looks set to have an extremely bright future in the game and it seems unlikely that Fulham will be able to keep hold of him forever, but boss Jokanovic has urged caution on a premature move, insisting he will get first team football at Craven Cottage this season.
Jokanovic has said: “He’s still working in the Championship with competition from other players. He’s still a boy so he needs to grow up.
“He’s ready for some part of this competition. We have to care about him. I believe in the future he’ll be an important player in English football. This boy needs time.”
