Leeds United are amongst clubs interested in signing Harry Wilson this summer, if the winger is made available on-loan by Liverpool.

A report from the Yorkshire Evening Post has claimed that Leeds would be interested in a move for Wilson, but interest from elsewhere in the exciting 21-year-old could make a deal difficult.

Liverpool are yet to make a decision on what to do with Wilson next season, after the Reds opted to send the 21-year-old out on-loan during the second-half of the 2017/18 campaign.

Wilson moved to Hull last January, where he enjoyed an impressive spell, as he helped the Tigers to safety in the Sky Bet Championship.

The winger made 14 appearances for Hull, including 13 in the Championship. In that time Wilson bagged seven Championship goals and three further assists in a hugely impressive spell.

Leeds aren’t the only club to have Wilson on their radar, with the winger attracting interest from Fulham and Huddersfield Town, who are willing to offer the youngster a Premier League chance.

However, that report from the Mirror has also claimed that Liverpool believe the winger has a future at Anfield.

The Verdict

Wilson really impressed at Hull last season, with the form he showed since his January move really encouraging.

Leeds would be lucky to have Wilson on board, as he could be a real weapon in the Championship. However, with Premier League clubs circling, it could be difficult to land the 21-year-old’s signature.

If Liverpool decide to only loan Wilson out this summer, Leeds might have a chance, but it is easy to see why Fulham or Huddersfield might be a more attractive option.
