The season may have ended for Leeds United but the campaign for one of their players began yesterday as Ryan Edmondson featured for Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership.

The 19-year-old striker secured a loan move to the Dons late last week and he was named on the bench as they fell to a 1-0 defeat to Rangers at Pittodrie yesterday.

Boss Derek McInnes turned to the teenager for the final 26 minutes and Edmondson made himself a nuisance, although he struggled for any real opportunities as the visitors generally dominated play.

And, any chance Aberdeen had disappeared when they were reduced to ten men with 85 minutes played.

With the game shown live on Sky Sports, many Leeds fans tuned in to see how Edmondson played given he has been highly-rated at Elland Road and it's fair to say most could see some positive signs, whilst he was also praised by watching pundits.
