Lincoln eyeing move for impressive 23-year-old non-league midfield ace

Lincoln City want to sign Barrow midfielder Jordan Williams, according to journalist Alan Nixon on Twitter.

23-year-old Williams has only been with Barrow since January 2016, and has impressed with his performances for the club over the past 18 months, which has now drawn the attention of Lincoln.

The Shrimpers have recently won promotion to League Two following a stunning campaign in the National League which saw them hurtle towards promotion and get themselves back into the football league proper.

Lincoln though will be looking to add new players to their squad, and it now seems that Barrow winger Williams is on the radar for the club as they look to strengthen their pack ahead of the new campaign.

Williams has 16 goals during his time with Barrow in just over 60 appearances, and will no doubt jump at the chance of moving up to League Two given the chance and proving himself at a higher level.

Lincoln fans, what do you think to this? Would you take Williams? Let us know in the comments!
