‘Like being back at Boro isn’t it’ – These Leeds United fans react to Patrick Bamford message

Patrick Bamford has admitted that football isn’t the same without supporters after the Bundesliga resumed today.
The German top-flight is the first major league to return in Europe, with Borussia Dortmund beating rivals Schalke in the biggest game of the day.
With the clash televised in the UK, it gave fans in this country a glimpse of what our game will be like in the coming months and Bamford wasn’t too impressed, with the Leeds United striker taking to Twitter to give his verdict on the situation.
Well from that: football isn’t gonna be the same for quite a while and it’s dead without fans 🤦🏼♂️

“Well from that: football isn’t gonna be the same for quite a while and it’s dead without fans.”
Unfortunately, there’s not going to be an alternative for a long time, with reports suggesting that supporters may not be allowed to go back to stadiums for another year. And, it’s been made clear that when the Championship does resume, they will be playing behind closed doors.
Bamford’s comments prompted plenty of responses from Whites fans and here we look at some of the comments…
Patrick if football is back behind closed doors in classic paddy fashion sush the Empty away end when you score

Yep but still decent to watch a bit of footy. Hopefully see you lot finish the season as champions next few months.

I felt it improved a bit as we got used to it pal.
Very different and you'll just need to imagine the fans chants ringing in your ears as we all support from home 👍👍👍
