Sheffield United will be without John Fleck for this afternoon’s clash with Bristol City, as Chris Wilder’s side go in search of a fifth consecutive victory at Ashton Gate.

It’s been a fine start to the season for the Blades, who sit third in the Championship table at this stage.

Victory today could see them move top, depending on results elsewhere, but they will have to do it without midfielder Fleck, who has a groin injury.

Wilder has drafted John Lundstram into his starting XI to replace Fleck alongside Oliver Norwood.

Elsewhere, David McGoldrick partners Billy Sharp in attack, with Conor Washington and Leon Clarke backing up from the bench.

There’s also a place on the bench for Marvin Johnson, but Martin Cranie hasn’t been included in Wilder’s matchday squad at Ashton Gate.

Following the club’s announcement, there has been plenty of reaction on social media, with many disappointed to see Fleck missing out…
