‘Like a new signing’ – Many Ipswich Town fans react to upbeat training ground insight

Despite a wretched run of recent results, Ipswich Town kept themselves firmly in the League One promotion race following a win over Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.
Ahead of their trip to Devon, Paul Lambert’s men had tasted victory just three times in their previous nine league matches, but picked up an important three points thanks to two goals in as many minutes from Jon Nolan and Kayden Jackson in the latter stages.
And feel good factor has continued to filter through for the Tractor Boys after on Monday after defender Kane Vincent-Young returned to training following an injury-hit 12 months.

Vincent-Young hasn’t featured for Ipswich since undergoing surgery twice on a groin problem he sustained at Southend United back in October 2019, although he did return to training in time for the new League One season.
Quiz: Which club did Ipswich Town sign each of these 25 players from?
However, the former Tottenham and Colchester right-back then suffered a fresh setback prior to Ipswich’s league opener against Wigan Athletic, and hasn’t trained since.
But Vincent-Young was pictured at the club’s training base today, and we’ve been looking at how the Portman Road faithful have been reacting to his return on Twitter.

This man will be like a new signing and *could/potentially* save Lambert his job – if it even needed saving in the first place..! #itfc. https://t.co/LmjqO88NWB
