Derby County's Krystian Bielik has posted a positive update on his recovery from injury, which has drawn an excited response from many fans of the East Midlands club.

The 22-year-old joined from Arsenal in the summer for a fee that could rise as high as £9.5 million, which would make it a club-record transfer.

The towering Pole quickly became a regular fixture in Phillip Cocu's starting XI, featuring 22 times before the turn of the year.

He suffered a nasty knee ligament injury at the start of January but appears to be making good progress in his recovery.

Bielik shared a clip of him playing with a ball in his garden on Instagram yesterday, which the club posted on their official Twitter account.

The Athletic reported at the start of the month that Derby were expecting the 22-year-old to be back in time for pre-season but that he would likely not feature until the Autumn.
