Monaco are the latest club to express an interest in signing Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon, according to an exclusive report by The Sun.

Sessegnon has had an outstanding year, helping Fulham to third place so far as they continue to push for an automatic promotion spot.

The 17-year-old has netted 14 goals and added a further six assists in the Championship this season for the Cottagers and his performances have not gone unnoticed with a host of top flight clubs ready to make summer bids for the teenager.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have been strongly linked with a move for Sessegnon while Barcelona and PSG have also been linked.

Now, Ligue 1 outfit Monaco are ready to join the £30m race for the left-back-turned-winger, who is regarded as one of the best young talents in the world.

Sessegnon recently scooped five prizes at the EFL award ceremony, including the top accolade of being named as the EFL Championship Player of the Year.

His focus will now be on helping to guide Fulham to promotion, with Slavisa Jokanovic's side still in the hunt for an automatic spot, but rumours about his future are not going away.

Monaco are the latest club to join the hunt after sending scouts to watch Sessegnon recently.

The Verdict

Sessegnon is one of the best young talents in the world and it is no surprise to see a host of clubs frantically trying to snap him up. But he seems quite grounded and settled at Fulham so if they go up, I can see him staying for at least one more year. If they stay down, however, I believe he will leave to move onto the next level.
