Nottingham Forest endured an extremely disappointing Tuesday night, with a 3-2 loss to Burton Albion in the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.

Aitor Karanka's men were second best to the League One outfit throughout the entire 96 minutes and were unable to reach the fifth round of the competition for the first time in over 20 years

After a goalless first half, the Reds got off to a dreadful start and went two goals down thanks to a Saidy Janko own-goal and a calm finish from Scott Fraser.

Lewis Grabban, who came on for the injured Hillal Soudani, then reduced the deficit and installed hope in the Forest fans - until ten minutes later - as Jake Hesketh netted Burton's third and decisive goal before youngster Arvin Appiah netted a late consolation.

Question marks were raised over Karanka's team selection - the Spaniard made ten changes from the side that drew 1-1 with Leeds United last weekend, giving the likes of Soudani, Liam Bridcutt, Ben Watson and Diogo Goncalves.

Goncalves' fellow countryman Gil Dias was also given a chance in the side, however, a foul throw in the dying embers typified a disappointing performance from the Portuguese winger.

Here, we take a look at Forest fans' reactions to Gil Dias' performance on Tuesday night...
