Charlton Athletic will take a 2-1 lead into the second-leg of the League One play-off semi-final, after beating Doncaster Rovers on Sunday afternoon.

The Addicks kept up their impressive run of form at the weekend, with Lee Bowyer's men possessing a significant advantage going into the second-leg.

Matty Blair ensured it would be a nervy end to the game for Charlton, after goals from Joe Aribo and Lyle Taylor steamrolled the Addicks into a 2-0 lead at the Keepmoat Stadium.

The latter netted his 10th goal in his last 11 games, taking his tally up to 25 goals in all competitions for the campaign, as well as entering the club's record books in the process.

The 29-year old became only the 4th player in the club's history to score 25 or more goals in their debut season at the Valley, highlighting how much of an success he has been since signing from AFC Wimbledon.
