Jack Grealish was strongly linked with a move away from Aston Villa during last summer’s transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur are believed to have had at least one bid rejected for the attacker, who certainly divides opinion.

The 23-year-old has only scored twice for Villa in the Championship this season, but has been on the sidelines since the middle of December with a shin injury.

Villa have missed the England Under-21 international’s guile in the final third and they are a better team when he is in it.

It does seem inevitable that Grealish will move on at some point though and with that in mind, we have looked at three perfect clubs for the Birmingham-born ace.

West Ham United

With respect to Grealish, he is not going to join a Manchester City, Liverpool or a Manchester United at this stage and go straight into the first XI.

He needs to be given the opportunity to play Premier League football without the huge pressure that is present at a top-four or indeed top-six club.

West Ham would be able to hand the attacker regular opportunities to develop and he could thrive alongside the likes of Declan Rice at the London Stadium.

Leicester City

Similar to West Ham, Leicester seem a good fit as they belong to the group of clubs not in the top six but also not struggling to stay in the division.

The Foxes’ attacking style of football would allow Grealish to see plenty of the ball and he would join a dressing room packed full of English talent.

The former Premier League champions would also be able to offer Grealish the financial package that he will be after in his next move.

Watford

Now, there is a perfect club for Grealish. Watford play an exciting and open brand of football under Javi Gracia and also use a formation which would be able to get the best out of the attacking midfielder.

Watford are certainly not a bigger club than Villa, but the Hornets are now established in the top flight and are an attractive proposition.
