Jack Clarke made his 13th Championship appearance of the season in Leeds United’s 2-1 defeat at Stoke City on Saturday afternoon.

The 18-year-old is enjoying a real breakthrough season at Leeds and his impressive form has naturally attracted attention from elsewhere.

According to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Crystal Palace have had a bid turned down the teenager, who has a contract at Elland Road until June 2021.

Leeds will be desperate to keep hold of the attacker, but his future at the club is far from secure as the speculation continues to increase.

With that in mind, we have taken a look at three ideal clubs for Clarke to join if the attacker does indeed decide to leave Leeds in search of pastures new.

Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has shown that he is not afraid to blood young players and the capital outfit would surely appeal to Clarke.

Training with the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Kane on a daily basis would take Clarke’s game to a new level, whilst he would be given opportunities to feature without the pressure of being expected to produce on a weekly basis.

Making the step from the Championship to a club in the Champions League would be huge, but there is no question that Clarke is a big talent.

RB Leipzig

Young English players moving to the Bundesliga seems to be the popular thing at the moment and Clarke should consider following the likes of Jadon Sancho in leaving England behind for Germany’s top flight.

Leipzig would be the perfect Bundesliga club for Clarke to develop without being under the spotlight, which would be the case at Dortmund or Bayern Munich.

Whether a move abroad would be considered by the York-born teenager is another matter entirely, but it would make sense for a number of reasons.

West Ham United

West Ham United would also be a good fit for Clarke, whose agent is former Leeds full-back Ian Harte.

Although talented, there is a danger that the teenager could get swallowed up if he moved to the likes of Manchester City or Manchester United at this stage.

At West Ham, Clarke would be given time and space to develop.
