Sheffield Wednesday have been handed an injury boost, with the news that Liam Palmer has returned to training from a spell in the treatment room.
The Scotsman hasn’t featured since their defeat to Cardiff City in late December, and will be hoping he can force his way back into the Owls starting XI in the near future as we head towards February.
Palmer took to Instagram to reveal a positive update on his injury, and is evidently pleased to return to training with the Owls squad this month.
Sheffield Wednesday are well in contention to finish inside the top-six this season, with Garry Monk’s men currently sat tenth in the Championship table.

I’m not sure he’ll go straight back into the starting XI though, as Osaze Urhoghide has been hugely impressive since being given an opportunity by Monk.
Palmer faces a real battle to get back into the side, but will be hoping he can make up for lost time as Sheffield Wednesday look to finish inside the play-off places this season.
