Nottingham Forest fell to yet another defeat in the Championship, as they were beaten 2-0 by promotion-chasing Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Saturday.

Lyle Taylor was denied by Rafael in the early stages of the game from close-range, and Forest were made to pay for their failure to open the scoring, as a defensive mix-up saw midfielder Ryan Yates sent-off for a handball in the penalty area.

Lucas Joao stepped up to open the scoring for the hosts, before Michael Morrison headed home in the second-half to give the Royals the breathing space they were after.

Chris Hughton was forced into a change midway through the match in Berkshire, with Tobias Figueiredo replacing Scott McKenna who picked up an injury against the Royals.

Figueiredo didn't cover himself in glory though, and was beaten to the ball by Morrison for Reading's second goal on the day, as they wrapped up an important three points.

The Forest defender has been in and out of the team this season, and his slight dip in form hasn't gone unnoticed by the City Ground faithful.

Plenty of Nottingham Forest supporters took to social media to issue their thoughts on Figueiredo's latest showing at the Madejski Stadium.
