‘Liability’ – Plenty of Leeds United fans are furious with one player’s performance v Luton Town

Leeds United were forced to settle for a point against relegation-threatened Luton Town at Elland Road on Tuesday.

The Whites fell behind in the second-half, as Harry Cornick finished off a swift counter-attacking move in clinical fashion.

But the Hatters’ lead didn’t last long as Stuart Dallas equalised with a shot from close-range. However, Leeds were unable to find a winner, and missed out on a golden opportunity to extend their lead over their promotion rivals at the top of the Championship table.

One player that was guilty of missing some notable chances for Leeds against Luton was Patrick Bamford, much to the frustration of some of the Leeds supporters.

Bamford has been a regular for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season but has struggled for consistency in front of goal for much of this year’s campaign.

The former Middlesbrough forward has netted 14 goals in 41 appearances, and will be looking to find a run of positive performances from now until the end of the season.

Plenty of the Elland Road faithful took to social media to voice their frustrations over Bamford’s performance against Luton on Tuesday evening.
