West Ham United youngster Dan Kemp still has an offer on the table from League Two side Leyton Orient, Ex West Ham Employee is reporting on Twitter.

The young midfielder, who celebrated his 21st birthday 11 days ago, is yet to experience senior football on a regular basis, but has competed for the Hammers' under-21 side this season in the Leasing.com Trophy, having scored two goals in three games during the competition.

Kemp started out his career in the Chelsea academy before switching over to West Ham in 2015, and he has gone on to impress over the last few years after returning from a long-term injury last season.

The youngster is described as being able to play as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, and he would make Ross Embleton's options in attack stronger if he was to head on loan to the local side.

In all competitions this season, the young midfielder has featured 20 times and scored 10, while he has assisted four for his youth team-mates.

Embleton has already added to his squad twice this season, bringing in Lawrence Vigouroux from Chilean club Everton and loaning in Ousseynou Cisse on loan from Gillingham.

The Verdict

Kemp could be a solid addition for Leyton Orient, as he will be a relative unknown to the opposition and there would be no pressure on him with it being his first senior loan.

The youngster would be joining an environment where he could relax and play the way that he wants, and get his first meaningful minutes of senior football under his belt.
