Nottingham Forest will be looking to build upon their recent victory over Preston North End when they face Reading tomorrow at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

The Reds' resurgence under the guidance of their new manager Steve Cooper continued before the international break as they sealed all three points in their showdown with the Lilywhites at the City Ground.

Currently 13th in the Championship, Forest could leapfrog Swansea City in the table on Saturday if they beat Veljko Paunovic's side.

Whereas Cooper is set to be without Loic Mbe Soh for this particular clash, James Garner and Lyle Taylor will both be pushing for a start after making cameo appearances against Preston.

Here, we have decided to take a look at how Forest could line up against Reading this weekend...

Having utilised the 4-2-3-1 formation against Preston, Cooper is likely to stick with this particular set-up in Saturday's fixture.

Goalkeeper Brice Samba is set to make his 17th appearance of the 2021/22 campaign for Forest in this particular clash.

Scott McKenna and Joe Worrall will be tasked with providing some defensive cover for Samba as the Reds aim to claim their fourth clean-sheet of the season at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.

Max Lowe and Djed Spence will occupy the full-back roles for Forest this weekend.

Meanwhile, Ryan Yates will feature alongside Jack Colback in the heart of midfield.

Having netted his second goal of the season in the club's clash with Preston, Colback ought to be brimming with confidence heading into tomorrow's fixture.

Academy graduates Alex Mighten and Brennan Johnson will feature in the wide positions whilst Philip Zinckernagel is expected to line up in the hole behind forward Lewis Grabban.

Grabban has benefitted considerably from the arrival of Cooper as he is currently thriving in the Championship.

The forward has scored six goals in his last eight appearances for Forest and will unquestionably fancy his chances of adding to this particular total against a Reading side who have only managed to prevent their opponents from finding the back of the net on three occasions in the Championship this season.
