It's a frustrating time to be a football supporter at this moment in time, with recent off-the-field events calling a halt to fixtures across the UK.

It means that both the Premier League and the Championship have a prolonged spell away from the training ground, with no immediate date being set for teams to return to competitive action.

AFC Bournemouth will be hoping that the break from matches can be somewhat of a blessing in disguise, as they look to find some much-needed consistency in their performances as they battle for survival in the top-flight.

AFC Bournemouth defender Steve Cook decided to do a Q&A session during the break from competitive action, with one Newcastle United fan quickly responding to him, and questioning who the experienced centre-back was.

Cook issued a brilliant response though, as he posted a video of him scoring against Newcastle earlier in his career, in front of the St. James' Park faithful.

Nottingham Forest's Lewis Grabban responded to Cook's fantastic response, and clearly felt that he had silenced the Newcastle United fan that posed the question to him in the first place.

Both Grabban and Cook played together whilst with AFC Bournemouth, with the latter still with the club. Whilst Grabban is currently playing for promotion-chasing Nottingham Forest in the Championship, and has 17 goals to his name in all competitions this term for Sabri Lamouchi's men.

The Verdict:

The AFC Bournemouth fans will absolutely love this.

Grabban was fondly remembered in his time with the Cherries, as he played a starring role in their promotion-winning season for Eddie Howe's side.

Cook's response to the Newcastle United supporter was brilliant, and it's certainly silenced him. It's good to see that Grabban is still in contact with his former team-mate to this day.

The Forest striker will be key to their chances of promotion into the Premier League this season, and he'll need to be at his best heading towards the conclusion of this year's campaign.
