Derby County remain without a win in the league since the opening day as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Cardiff City at Pride Park last night.

Despite that, there were positives for the Rams, who started to show glimpses of the football that Phillip Cocu wants them to play moving forward.

And, one man who contributed significantly to the performance was big-money summer signing Krystian Bielik.

The Polish international, who has featured in defence and midfield this season, was given a defensive midfield position alongside Tom Huddlestone and he impressed, so much so that he was named man of the match on TV.

He broke up play well, started attacks and gave the Rams a real physical presence in the middle of the park against a strong Cardiff side.
