Leeds United have recently confirmed that Eddie Nketiah has been recalled early from his loan spell at Elland Road by Arsenal.

The youngster failed to make a notable impact with the Whites, having made just two league starts for Leeds, who currently occupy top-spot in the Championship.

It's recently been revealed by Football Insider that Leeds have made their move for the potential arrival of Southampton forward Che Adams.

Football League World's Leeds fan pundit Bradley Marshall admitted that he sees Adams as a strong option to consider for the Whites in January's transfer window and thinks he could find regular game time with Marcelo Bielsa's side this season.

"He was prolific in a poor Birmingham side last season, and was a clear standout player in the league. At his age he needs regular football in order to keep improving, and so he can prove to Southampton that he is indeed good enough to play more for them.

"And what better way to do this than on loan at a team that is pushing for promotion and on the verge of greatness. The are some limitations to this situation as his wages will not be cheap, as well as facing tough competition from Forest who haven't hidden their desire to sign him too.

"Furthermore, Southampton will not let him leave until they have found a suitable replacement which will take time and could take the majority of the window.

The regular punter went on to admit that the next striker he is keen to see arrive at Elland Road is Brighton forward Glenn Murray, who has been restricted to a number of substitute appearances for the Seagulls in the Premier League this season.

"So strap yourselves in Leeds fans its going to be a long January ahead. The second player that I want us to look at is Mr Championship himself Glen Murray.

"Even at the age of 36, I still feel that he would score ten goals at this level which would be just what we need in a tricky run-in of fixtures.

"Brighton won't hesitate to send him out on loan if the right club come along. Furthermore with Ben White being here and excelling under Bielsa, Graham Potter would not be against sending Murray here too.

"All I say is we have to bring in some quality now, it showed last season how we were so close but fell at the final hurdle, the league is there for the taking so lets take the risk and get it done. Ideally either Adams or Murray will do this."
