Burnley are set to complete a move to sign Bristol City captain Josh Brownhill in a deal worth up to £10 million, according to the Daily Mail’s Craig Hope.

Brownhill has been a crucial player for the Robins this season and was made captain at the start of the campaign.

The 24-year-old has played 29 times for Lee Johnson’s side this campaign and has contributed to five goals and two assists.

He joined Bristol City back in 2016 and has become a fan favourite during his time at the club having made over 130 appearances for the Robins.

Nahki Wells is set to go the other way and join Bristol City for a fee believed to be around the £4 million mark. It’s set to be an important part few months for the Robins as they aim for a place in the top six.
