Portsmouth continued their unbeaten home record with a 2-1 victory over AFC Wimbledon on Saturday afternoon.

Pompey have had an uplifting few months after what was a terrible first few weeks of the season. Fans were calling for Kenny Jackett to leave the club, but Portsmouth now seem to be on the right course.

Both goal-scorers in the victory over AFC Wimbledon on Saturday were players that had been signed in the summer. The first goal came through winger Marcus Harness before John Marquis scored late on to give Pompey a much needed victory.

Portsmouth are now in 7th place in the division and sit outside of the play-off places on goal difference. It’s a promising position to be in with a lot football left to play and there’s hope now amongst supporters that they can once again compete for Championship football.

They’ve now lost once in their last seven matches and a real push for promotion seems to be on the cards from the club.

Here’s how Pompey fans reacted to the win on the weekend…
