Carlos Carvalhal is doing a fantastic job at Sheffield Wednesday and many fans believe that he could be the man to lead them back to the Premier League after a lengthy absence.

After being relegated from the Premiership in the 1999/00 season, Sheffield Wednesday have struggled to win promotion back to the top flight and have looked more likely to drop back down to League One in recent years.

However, Carvalhal has turned things around at Hillsborough and guided the Owls to a sixth place finish and a play-off final last season.

Just a solitary Mo Diame goal separated Sheffield Wednesday from returning to the top flight that day but the fans have faith that they can go one better this season.

January has been a positive month and the Owls are currently sat in the play-off spots.

But with such a large squad, Carvalhal really could have done more selling this month.

Here are 3 players who should have been sold by now.
