It was a very productive and promising afternoon for Leeds United on Tuesday.

A second-string Whites side beat Burnley 6-3, on a day where Izzy Brown and Patrick Bamford played a full 90 minutes, as the duo near a return to first-team action.

The latter netted a hat-trick as he edges ever closer to a return from an injury, that has sidelined him for four months and limited him to seven appearances for the club, since arriving from Middlesbrough in the summer.

Coincidentally, all six of Leeds' goals came against Tom Heaton - a player who has been recently linked with a move to Elland Road, as Marcelo Bielsa searches frantically for a goalkeeper to provide competition for Bailey Peacock-Farrell.

Having been linked with the likes of Keiren Westwood and Karl Darlow too though, perhaps Heaton's display may be enough for Leeds to look elsewhere - that's certainly what Leeds fans are thinking, anyway.
