Tyrone Mings is in the clear after the weekend's events between Reading and Aston Villa but that is far from the end of the story by the looks of things.

Mings and Royals forward Nelson Oliveira ended up tangling during the game and the centre-half's foot ended up plunging into the striker's face - leaving him with a lot of blood and in need of a hospital trip.

Mings has been cleared, though, and so as far as the case is concerned, the coming together was completely accidental.

For some, however, that does not wash and speaking on talkSPORT Micky Gray suggested that the whole coming together could have been avoided.
