Leeds are certainly justifying their pre-season promotion credentials, with Marcelo Bielsa's side currently sat 2nd in the Championship table.

They face a potentially season-defining festive period ahead of them this month, where it could either make or break their season.

Bielsa has been faced with a number of injury problems since he arrived at Elland Road with many supporters questioning his high-intensity style of play.

The likes of Pablo Hernandez, Pontus Jansson and Luke Ayling are just a small number of names that have been sidelined at some stage of this season.

The Leeds boss is likely to dip into the January transfer market to add depth to his squad which he will hope can aid their promotion chances this year.

Find out here....

According to Turkish media outlet, Fotomac, Leeds sent scouts to watch Lens in action for Besiktas.

He would be an excellent addition to any Championship side but they could face a tough task to convince the winger to come to Elland Road.

Lens would be a welcome addition to some already impressive attacking firepower in Marcelo Bielsa's squad.

The Chelsea youngster is yet to make a league appearance for the Blues this season due to the fierce competition for places in the centre of defence.

Ampadu would be an excellent addition to the Leeds squad, who's defensive options are limited due to the injuries suffered to Luke Ayling, Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper in recent weeks.

A loan deal would be the most likely option with Chelsea unlikely to let the youngster leave on loan.

Leeds have already been linked with a move for the Juventus youngster earlier in the season according to Tuttosport.

Kean is one of the brightest young prospects in world football, so it would be a huge coup to land the youngster's signature in January.

But Kean could be persuaded by Marcelo Bielsa to join the promotion-chasing Whites this season.
