Leicester City are weighing up a bid for Luton Town defender, James Justin according to the Daily Mail.

The young-full back has been hugely impressive with the Hatters this season, as they won a deserved promotion back into the Championship to make it back-to-back promotions.

Justin has played a key role in their recent success, and was a regular in the Luton team, having made 43 league appearances in total across the season.

His good run of form seemingly hasn’t gone unnoticed though, with the Foxes registering their interest in signing him ahead of next year’s campaign.

Brendan Rodgers is reportedly keen to add some depth to his defensive options at full-back, and sees Justin as the ideal man to challenge the likes of Ben Chillwell for his starting spot at the King Power Stadium.

Justin is an attack-minded full-back, which has seen him pose a considerable threat at both ends of the pitch this season.

Newly-appointed Luton boss, Graeme Jones will be keen to assess his options ahead of next season, and will surely be discussing Justin’s future imminently after hearing of Leicester’s interest.

The Verdict:

This would be a great signing for Leicester.

Justin has been one of the standout players for Luton this season, and he would be more than deserving of a move to the Premier League in the near future.

If he can be given game time to develop at Leicester, then this could prove to be an excellent bit of business in the long run.
