It is rumoured that Leicester City are interested in signing Manchester United youngster Nick Powell in a cut-price summer deal.
The 20-year old midfielder has spent this past season on loan to Championship side Wigan Athletic making 35 appearances and scoring nine goals in the process.
The Englishman has impressed in his loan spell at Wigan has earned the praise off of many. It is unlikely that he will be played at parent club Manchester United next season as he is seen as a reserve player.
However, it seems that Leicester City are ready to give the England U21 international a chance to sign in the Premier League. It is unknown as to whether the club will buy the player or will offer Manchester United a loan deal.
The midfielder has previously been linked with a move to SPFL Champions Celtic but now it seems that a move to Premier League side Leicester City is his preferred destination.
