Before securing promotion to the Premier League in 2014, Leicester City called upon the services of a host of players during their spell in the Football League as they navigated their way to the highest level.
One of the individuals who featured for the Foxes during this particular period was Bruno Berner.
Signed by Leicester in 2008, Berner went on to play 36 games for the club during his debut season at the King Power Stadium.
The defender managed to produce some assured performances in League One as his side amassed an incredibly impressive total of 96 points at this level.
Berner made 35 appearances in the Championship in the 2009/10 campaign as he helped Leicester reach the play-offs.
After spending two more seasons with the club, Berner eventually decided to leave the Foxes in 2012 and opted to retire from professional football.
Since making this particular choice, the former Switzerland international has embarked on a career in management.
Berner was handed over the reins at FC Tuggen in 2016 and spent a year with the club before opting to take up the managerial vacancy at SC Kriens.
During his time in charge of SC Kriens, Berner helped the club achieve promotion to the second-tier in 2018 and guided the Swiss side to safety last season.
Appointed as Switzerland's Under-19 coach earlier this year, the former Leicester man will be determined to lead his country to a positive result in their clash with England this weekend.
A positive result in this particular fixture could boost Switzerland's chances of reaching the Under-19 European Championship which is set to take place next year in Slovakia.
Berner's side are also set to face Sweden and Andorra during the latest international break.
After securing a point in their clash with Leeds United yesterday, Leicester will be hoping to get back to winning ways in the Premier League when they face Chelsea on November 20th.
