Leicester City are monitoring in-form Hull City man Jarrod Bowen ahead of a potential move in this window.

The 22-year-old has been outstanding for the Tigers recently and scooped the Player of the Month award for December after his remarkable recent run that included six goals in as many games.

Altogether, he has 11 for the campaign and has established himself as one of the most exciting players in the Championship.

As you would expect, that hasn't gone unnoticed, with The Sun reporting that the Foxes have shown a strong interest in the player along with fellow Premier League sides Tottenham and Everton.

However, they also add that Hull are reluctant to sell their key player at this stage of the season, whilst they claim Bowen is valued at around £20m.

They head into today's game against Sheffield Wednesday having won five games in a row in the league and it's left Nigel Adkins' men seven points behind the top six with a game in hand.

The winger is expected to feature against the Owls this afternoon.

The Verdict

This would be slightly surprising only because Leicester have just recalled Harvey Barnes who was excelling at West Brom.

However, it's not a surprise to see they may be monitoring Bowen because he is an exciting player and looks capable of making the step up.

Ultimately though, with Hull feeling they have an outside chance of making the top six, it's going to take a big bid for them to sell in this window.
