It has recently been announced by Leeds United that Leif Davis has agreed to extend his stay at Elland Road until the summer of 2023.

The young defender has clearly caught the eye with his performances in the last two seasons, and the club are keen to keep him with them for the foreseeable future.

Davis made five appearances in total in his breakthrough season last term, and has gone on to make four appearances already in this year's campaign.

The youngster is clearly rated highly by Marcelo Bielsa, who has evidently already been impressed with Davis, as footage re-emerged from one of Leeds' games, with the Whites boss praising the 19-year-old from the touchline.

Davis will be hoping to get a run in the first team this season, but he faces a tough task to get into the starting XI ahead of the likes of Barry Douglas and Ezgjan Alioski.

Plenty of the Elland Road faithful took to Twitter following the re-emergence of this footage.
