Huddersfield Town goalkeeper Ryan Schofield kept a clean sheet on league debut, as they drew 0-0  with Middlesbrough last night.

Leon Wobschall reported that regular goalkeeper Kamil Grabara missed the game through illness, and is expected to return at the weekend. This present Schofield with a long-awaited chance to represent The Terriers.

The 19-year-old spent last season on loan at Notts County, making 17 appearances for the League Two side. The youngster has been on the bench for every league game this season, and will be delighted with his contribution.

Middlesbrough didn’t threat his goal on many occasions, however he looked calm and assured when called upon. He’s left manager Danny Cowley with a decision to make ahead of their game against Barnsley this weekend, in what is certain to be a closely-fought battle.

The young shot-stopper took to Twitter  express his delight at making his debut and keeping a clean.
