Notorious footage of a post-match interview with ex-Bristol City defender Aden Flint has emerged on Twitter, drawing an interesting response from plenty of fans of the South West club.

The towering centre-back is something of a divisive figure among Robins fans as he was a faithful servant during his five years at the club but joined rivals Cardiff City in the summer.

Flint made nearly 250 appearances for City and was a key part of their double-winning side in 2014/15, a season in which he scored 15 times for the club.

The 30-year-old cemented his place as a firm fan favourite after the Bs3 outfit beat South West rivals Swindon Town 3-0 on this day in 2015.

The victory helped City take a step towards the League One title and promotion to the Championship but dented Swindon's hopes of going up.

Flint, who had made 79 appearances for Swindon before moving to Ashton Gate in 2013, was asked after the game if he wanted his former club to go up and provided a memorable answer that would be turned into a song by Robins fans.

On the five-year anniversary of his famous response, the Bristol City FC Supporters Page have posted a clip of the post-match interview on Twitter.

That appears to have been well-received by fans of the South West club, with many taking to Twitter to voice their thoughts on the clip and the player.
