Former QPR captain Clint Hill has taken to Twitter to reflect on the 2013/14 season, which has been well received by fans of the west London club.

The central defender spent six years with the R's and made 185 appearances in total – helping them to secure promotion to the Premier League twice.

Hill was the club captain when QPR secured promotion via the play-off final in 2013/14, featuring 46 times for the Hoops that season.

Under the stewardship of Harry Redknapp, the R's finished fourth and beat Wigan in extra time to secure their place in the play-off final.

The biggest dramatics were saved for the game at Wembley, with Bobby Zamora coming off the bench to score a 90th-minute winner and secure promotion.

The west London club posted some images of the 2013/14 season on Twitter yesterday and Hill was quick to add his thoughts.

Hill's message has caught the attention of parts of the Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium faithful, many of whom have heaped praise on the 41-year-old on Twitter.
