The Sky Bet Championship action kicks off at Elland Road this weekend as Leeds United host Brentford.

Two sides that play attractive football, both are considered contenders for promotion this year.

It promises to be an entertaining clash, then, and so ahead of it, we caught up with Tom Bradley - editor of Leeds blog idradebeleeds.com - to get his thoughts on the clash...

Many think that Brentford play the most similar style to Leeds in the league - is this the Whites' toughest test so far?

When it comes to facing a side that are almost like-for-like in style, you have to say that Brentford do pose our biggest test of the season. They’re a vibrant team so it will be interesting to see how game plans are influenced.

We saw Bielsa employ a back-three against Hull on Tuesday night. Do you expect the system to remain for this game or will a back-four return?

Unfortunately, we lost Barry Douglas to injury against Hull, so Bielsa will be forced into making a change. I think it will still be a back four, but who knows, El Loco is a genius that will toy with things when he feels it right to do so.

Neal Maupay is obviously Brentford's biggest threat right now. Will Leeds need to devise a plan to stop him or will Bielsa keep playing his way?

Maupay made a blistering start to the season and is most certainly a player we need to be wary of. We will need to keep him quiet or he will punish us. I trust our defence to put up a good fight against Brentford’s attack, though.

Is there anyone you'd drop for this game? And if so, who for and why?

The only player who I think is perhaps fortunate to still be in the first eleven is Ezgjan Alioski. Purely based on recent impact and the amount of times he’s been caught offside. Injuries are probably keeping him in the team, but I know Bielsa likes to keep a winning side when possible, so I expect him to be in the team.

Tyler Roberts now has three goals to his name after his goal against Hull. What have you made of his recent displays and can he fire against the Bees?

Tyler has shown immense maturity in the last few games. He’s only 19 and didn’t even feature last season when we signed him due to a bad injury. He’s filling the boots of Kemar Roofe, one of our key players so far, and he deserves a lot of plaudits for grabbing some key goals.

Score prediction

It will be a close game and I believe one that the neutral fan will be entertained by. With just one defeat under our belt, I’m confident we can shade this one. I’ll say 2-1 to Leeds.
