Promotion to the Premier League left Leeds United fishing in a different pond over the course of the summer transfer window.

Leeds' club-record fee paid out had stood at £18m (Rio Ferdinand) since 2000, but Leeds matched that or beat it twice in the window to sign Rodrigo and Diego Llorente, whilst Raphinha came close to it.

Marcelo Bielsa has carried over plenty of the players he nurtured in the EFL and they are a regular fix in the Premier League now, but they are assisted by some top European talent.

That leads to us taking a look at the Leeds squad, identifying who transfermarkt rank in their top-10 for most valuable players.

We kick things off with the skipper...

Cooper is valued at £6.3m after a steady path of progress under Marcelo Bielsa.

He's a Scottish international now, as well as a Premier League defender. His valuation sees him tied with Jack Harrison in 9th.

Harrison is also valued at £6.3m and is another who has progressed nicely under Bielsa during his three seasons at Elland Road.

He scored Leeds' first goal back in the Premier League with a classy effort against Liverpool and is a regular on the left of Leeds' midfield.

Meslier is valued at £7.2m and is one of the game's finest goalkeeping prospects.

He's been solid for Leeds in the Premier League and his performance against Sheffield United will live long in the memory.

At £5m, Leeds got him for a snip of his valuation.

Leeds' No.9 is valued at £9m now after a fine start to life as a Premier League striker.

Bamford has notched seven goals in eight games this season and is potentially in with a shout of making the first England squad in 2021.

That would be some achievement for a striker that many deemed not good enough before a ball was kicked this season.

Valued at £10.8m, Costa comes in at No.6 in this list.

Like Harrison, he's a regular on the wing for Leeds and has progressed nicely in just over 12 months under Bielsa.

He's bagged two goals and two assists in the Premier League this season.

Robin Koch kick-stars the top-5.

Leeds signed the Germany international for £13m in the summer, but he's valued at £15.3m here.

Have Leeds got him under market value? This suggests so.

Another new signing sits at fourth in the form of Raphinha.

The Brazilian winger came in for £17m in the summer, which sort of matches up to his £16.2m market value.

With a few more games under his belt, Leeds could feel they've got a bargain.

Llorente cost Leeds £18m in the summer and that matches up to his market value of £18m.

He's yet to play a minute of football for Leeds this season in the Premier League, but he is overcoming his injury issues now and will hope to be involved in the build-up to Christmas.

In second place is homegrown talent, Kalvin Phillips.

With. no previous transfer to go off, he's got a market value of £19.8m. In truth, if he ever leaves Leeds, you'd expect it to be for much more.

Club-record signing, Rodrigo Moreno, features at No.1 unsurprisingly.

After costing Leeds £27m, his market value matches up to that.
