Leeds United playmaker Pablo Hernandez has revealed that hairdressing is one of his off-pitch talents he has posted an image of himself giving his son a haircut on Instagram.

On the pitch, the Spaniard has proved himself a key man for the Whites once again this season.

The 34-year-old has missed part of the 2019/20 campaign due to injury but has been a mainstay in Marcelo Bielsa's side when fit – and one of his chief attacking threats.

Hernandez has six goals and six assists to his name this term – meaning only Patrick Bamford has contributed to more goals in the Whites squad this season.

The Spain international, who is comfortable as either a winger or an attacker midfielder, arrived at Elland Road in 2016 and has entertained fans of the Yorkshire club ever since – grabbing 33 goals and 36 assists in his 150 appearances.

It appears his talents go beyond just dazzling between the white lines, however, and with all EFL fixtures suspended due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Hernandez took to Instagram to post an image of him cutting his son's hair yesterday.

These 15 players have played for both Leeds United and Everton – True or false? Have a go now!

The Verdict

Hernadez has proved himself something of a magician in the final third since arriving at Elland Road, hopefully, for his son's sake he is similarly capable with clippers.

It must be strange for players at the moment, with so much uncertainty over if, when and how the season will be concluded.

The delay could prove good news for the 34-year-old and allow him to return refreshed for the run-in.
