Pablo Hernandez has been sharpening up his golfing technique, as the Leeds United squad remain on lockdown amid this global pandemic.

Leeds have instructed their squad to self isolate amid the ongoing coronavirus outbreak, with the EFL at a standstill and no resume date for the season emerging just yet.

For members of Leeds’ squad, they are looking to pass the time, but that’s not easy with a lot of their hobbies also ‘out of bounds’ at this time.

Hernandez falls into that category, with the Spaniard a keen golfer.

Of course, he can’t get out for a round of 18 holes, which has led to Hernandez getting piece of netting out and practising his swing.

His partner has shared the footage on Instagram, questioning just how much Hernandez is missing his golf.

Back to the day job, Hernandez has been a driving force at Elland Road this season, with the 35-year-old scoring six goals and registering a further six assists.

His form has led the Whites to the top of the Championship table.

QUIZ: Where did these 15 Leeds United players join the club from?

The Verdict

Hernandez has seen his two sporting loves taken away from him, which will no doubt be adding to the playmaker’s boredom.

Football comes first, but golf is one of Hernandez’s other hobbies and he will be itching to get back out on the course.

When that is, remains to be seen, but first and foremost, Hernandez will be looking at securing another crack at the Premier League.

Then, he can focus on relaxing over the summer with some golf.
