Leeds United lost out last weekend in the race for promotion with a defeat to Sheffield United, but remain firmly in contention ahead of international weekend.

The Whites have been putting in some fine performances in the main, but a host of missed chances against the Blades allowed Chris Wilder's men to snatch all three points.

However, with Premier League football still a distinct possibility for next season, Leeds and their manager Marcelo Bielsa will no doubt be making some plans in terms of the transfer market and who they might look to sign.

And one man we feel would be a stellar signing for the Whites is current Derby County loanee Harry Wilson, who is enjoying a fine spell with the Rams after joining on a season-long loan deal from Liverpool.

Wilson - who has been linked with Leeds already -  has fired in ten goals for Frank Lampard's men, some of them spectacular strikes which have really caught the eye of onlooking fans and managers, and he is destined by the looks of things to have a successful Premier League career.

A move to a club like Leeds, whether on a permanent or loan basis would be ideal for Wilson too, with Marcelo Bielsa's expansive style and attacking football something which would really suit the Welshman.

The young winger has bags of potential still there to unlock, and his pace, trickery down the flanks and ability to fire in goals at important times make him a valuable asset.

There's a chance he will only go on to get better too, but with first team chances at Anfield likely to be at a premium, a move to Elland Road might be just the ticket for the exciting Wilson.

Leeds fans, would you take Wilson if promoted? Let us know in the comments!
