Leeds United have recently been linked with a loan swoop for Wolves winger, Helder Costa according to a report from the Yorkshire Evening Post.

The 25-year-old has struggled for game time since Wolves were promoted to the Premier League and it will come as no surprise to see him being linked with a move away from the club before next year's campaign gets underway.

Leeds' interest in Costa's services makes sense as well, with the Whites currently being short of options out wide in Bielsa's squad.

Jack Harrison has recently returned to Manchester City from his loan spell at Elland Road, whilst Jack Clarke continues to be linked with a move away from the club according to the Yorkshire Evening Post.

That leaves Pablo Hernandez as one of the few concrete options available to Bielsa heading into next season, but his place in the Leeds starting XI could be under threat.

Harrison has been linked with a potential return to Elland Road for another season on loan according to Football Insider, and if Costa is to sign as well, then Hernandez could find appearances limited heading into next year's campaign.

Last season was arguably Leeds' best chance at winning promotion, and given that Hernandez almost single-handedly took Leeds to within touching distance of the Premier League, he was crucial to their promotion bid.

But at the age of 34, the Spaniard will surely struggle to replicate the impressive performances that he had shown last season, which will be frustrating for both Hernandez and Marcelo Bielsa.

He'll surely be fearing for his starting spot if both Harrison and Costa were to arrive at Elland Road in the summer, and he has every right to as Costa and Harrison are both excellent additions to have in any squad in the Championship.

An interesting summer awaits at Leeds, and their supporters will be hoping that Bielsa can make the necessary signings to allow them to compete for promotion once again this season.
