Leeds United’s 13th place finish in the Sky Bet Championship last season was a huge disappointment, with the Whites well short of where many expected them to be.

Paul Heckingbottom oversaw the bulk of the second-half of the season, as Leeds stuttered towards a mid-table finish, managing just four victories along the way.

The Whites are expected to be busy over the course of the summer transfer window, looking to recruit the right personnel to get the club challenging higher up the Championship table.

However, whilst additions will be made, there will be a flurry of departures, with far too many fringe players not pulling their weight at Elland Road.

Here at FLW, we take a closer look at Heckingbottom’s squad, identifying THREE players that Leeds will expect to receive tidy fee for, should they depart Elland Road in the coming summer…

It’s hard to imagine Antonsson getting another chance at Elland Road, after a season out on-loan with Blackburn Rovers.

The forward’s spell at Ewood Park was reasonably prolific and Leeds will expect some domestic interest in the forward.

Should he move on, Leeds could negotiate a good fee.

Cibicki has been on the fringe at Elland Road this season, not yet featuring under Heckingbottom.

A move seems inevitable, but Cibicki hasn’t lost too much value in the last 12 months and should still be available for a good fee, with a long contract behind him.

Heckingbottom’s desire to bring Andy Yiadom to Elland Road could open the door for Berardi to depart this summer.

The Swiss defender is a popular figure amongst Leeds’ supporters, but is certainly a player Leeds could find an upgrade on.

Luke Ayling and Lewie Coyle will expect to compete for the right-back berth, whilst Yiadom would provide cover there and at left-back.

Should Berardi be heading for the exit door, his improvement over the last two years would mean Leeds could negotiate a good fee for the defender.
