Ryan Fraser is a man in-demand this summer, with Leeds United entering the race to sign the free agent alongside the likes of West Bromwich Albion and Fulham.

Leeds won the Championship last season and, alongside West Brom and Fulham, are now preparing to return to the Premier League in 2020/21.

That trio are all interested in making a move for Fraser, with the 26-year-old now a free agent after leaving AFC Bournemouth.

Quiz: Do you remember which club Leeds United signed these 15 players from?

As per 90 min, Leeds, West Brom and Fulham have joined the likes of Crystal Palace, Brighton and Hove Albion and Newcastle United in the race for the 26-year-old, who had previous interest from Arsenal and Tottenham.

The North London duo are reportedly backing out of contention, leaving the door open for Premier League sides to make their move on the free agent.

Fraser is a full Scottish international and had been on the books at Bournemouth since January 2013.

He went on to make over 200 appearances for the Cherries. In the 2019/20 campaign, as Bournemouth slipped out of the Premier League, Fraser scored one goal and registered four assists in 28 appearances.

The year before, however, he was prolific, scoring seven goals and registering 14 assists for Eddie Howe as well as being ever-present in the side.

The Verdict

Fraser is a top winger, who has Premier League quality.

Given Arsenal and Spurs have previously been interested, it underlines that he’d be a good signing for any of the promoted sides, but particularly Leeds, who are on the lookout for a creative player.

However, for Leeds, West Brom or Fulham, it’s going to be tough, with so many other Premier League players interested in doing a deal.
