Leeds United are closely monitoring San Lorenzo striker Adolfo Gaich ahead of the summer transfer window, according to reports from Football Insider.
Marcelo Bielsa will be keen to strengthen his squad as his side remain on the cusp of automatic promotion to the Premier League, with Gaich emerging as a reported target for Leeds.
The forward has scored five goals in 12 league games for San Lorenzo this season, and has made one appearance for the Argentina national team.
Football Insider claim that Bielsa is closely monitoring Gaich ahead of the summer, as he looks to bolster Leeds’ attacking options.
Leeds currently sit top of the Sky Bet Championship table and sit seven points clear of third, with a huge chance of making a long-awaited return to Premier League football via automatic promotion.
Gaich looks to be an exciting player who Bielsa will be familiar of, and the pair working together could be a huge success.
He’s at a decent age and will only grow as a player, but whether Leeds need him or not is a different question entirely.
Jean-Kevin Augustin will join permanently in the summer if they go up, whilst Patrick Bamford has been a key player this season.
