Leeds United have been flying under Garry Monk this season and the Peacocks sit sixth in the table, looking on course to secure a return to the Premier League for the first-time since their shock relegation in 2014.

The young midfielder hasn't had things go his way since switching Elland Road for Bournemouth on the South Coast, as his rise to Premier League football has been affected by injury issues and the arrival of Jack Wilshere on-loan from Arsenal.

At his age, regular football is a necessity and returning to Leeds on-loan would be a superb move for all involved.

Leeds will benefit extremely from a player of Cook's calibre bolstering their midfield and his previous experience with the club will help him settle in quickly.

Marc Pugh

The 29-year-old winger is seeking more regular first-team football than he's currently getting at Bournemouth and having been present for the entirety of the Cherries' rise over the past six years, his experience will be a massive boost to Garry Monk's side.

Providing an attack boost from out wide, Pugh's experience in chasing promotion will be invaluable to Leeds' young squad and he's the sort of addition who can help the players already in the squad compete to the best of their potential.
