Luton Town have slapped a £1m price tag on Leeds United target James Justin, according to an exclusive report by Football Insider.

Leeds have been targeting the Luton defender this month but will have to pay a seven figure sum for this services.

Leeds United right back Luke Ayling has been ruled out for the rest of the season after suffering a serious injury and Thomas Christiansen has been scouring the market in the hope of bringing in a replacement this month.

He has signed Laurens De Bock from Club Brugges in Belgium and he can play at left back, allowing Gaetano Berardi to switch over to his favoured right back role.

But strength in depth has been a problem for Leeds this season, as evidenced in the cup, and a new right back is on their wishlist.

James Justin has been identified as a top target but Luton will hold out for £1m for their star defender.

The England under-20 international is making strides at Kenilworth Road as he continues to star in their senior side despite his young age.

The 19-year-old is a product of the Luton Town academy and he already has over 50 senior appearances under his belt.

The Verdict

James Justin would be a top signing for the future. And, in honesty, £1m is a snip in today's market. For one of the brightest young defender prospects in the English game, this is a £1m punt worth taking for Leeds.
