With Neil Redfearn unsure of his job, there could be a managerial merry go round at Elland Road this summer, and Watford manager Slavisa Jokanovic is the latest to be linked with the job.

Reports from Spanish reporter Guilleme Ballaque suggest that current Watford boss Slavisa Jovanovic is heading the list of targets that Leeds United are looking at, with West Ham also looking towards the Serbian Manager.

With Jokanovic still not agreeing a new contract at Watford and the close season beginning, speculation is rife that the club are currently doing due diligence on if he is the right man for the job. If Watford don't make their minds up soon, they could lose the talented boss to another club.

With Massimo Cellino's nickname "the manager eater" already being proven in the past season, with three bosses already falling through the trap door instilled in the Elland Road dugout, Redfearn is set to be next out the door.

Most Leeds fans would see this as a tragedy after seeing Redfearn and his staff revitalising the club from one point above the relegation zone to a mid table finish.

While integrating youth talent from his academy and installing confidence in players that look dead and buried, Redfearn has become a cult hero for the club and fans want him to stay.

If Cellino does in fact let Redfearn leave when his contract runs out next month, questions will be asked of who will be next at the poisoned chalice at Elland Road.

The news may not be gloomy for Redfearn and currently suspended assistant Thompson though, with Blackpool ready to snap up the pair for next season in League One.

Football never has a fairytale ending, but if Cellino can disregard his passion for new managers and keep Redfearn, while returning Thompson to his position and giving the coaches the confidence and backing they need, Leeds United could have a season that blows clubs out of the water.
