Adam Forshaw will again be missing for Leeds United tomorrow evening, as Marcelo Bielsa’s side prepare to face Swansea City at Elland Road.

Leeds were without Forshaw for Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough, but there was hope he’d be able to return to face Swansea during the week.

However, Bielsa has confirmed to Phil Hay at the Yorkshire Evening Post that the 27-year-old will be missing: "The situation with Adam didn't evolve as we thought it would so he won't be in the group tomorrow.

"We think it's not that serious. We hope he'll be available in about 10 days."

In addition to that Bielsa confirmed that the only change from Saturday’s clash with Middlesbrough would come on the wing, with Pablo Hernandez returning to replace Jack Clarke, who was taken to hospital during the second-half at the weekend.

That means that Kiko Casilla, Luke Ayling, Pontus Jansson, Liam Cooper and Ezgjan Alioski will complete Leeds’ defensive unit, with Kalvin Phillips ahead of them in a defensive midfield role.

Mateusz Klich and Kemar Roofe will be the No.10 pivots, with Hernandez and Jack Harrison on the flanks.

Patrick Bamford will start his second fixture in five days and lead the line.

The Verdict

This is the same side that started the second-half at Middlesbrough, with Leeds looking good for large spells with this personnel on the field.

Forshaw missing is a blow, but Phillips did well in the midfield and was likely to retain his place anyway.

It’s an attacking line-up from Bielsa, which Swansea will have to be wary of.
